David brings 29 years of construction experience and a great vision for the future of this new company. The breadth of David's experience in both preconstruction and construction is extensive. His skill sets with respect to scheduling and constructability are excellent and have been proven over time from project to project.
David's vision for the company is driven not only by entrepreneurial spirit but by the desire to provide the highest level of service for clients. He offers resources of not only technical expertise but also knowledge of the local industry. David places great value on the many lasting relationships that he has made with owners, developers, architects, engineers and subcontractors and recognizes the importance of a cohesive, collaborative effort that values the contribution of each member of the project team.
With a career that has evolved primarily in Boston and with responsibilities ranging from field engineering to principal-in-charge, David has developed an appreciation for and an in depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction process. Having been responsible for billions of dollars of construction work put in place over the course of his career, David has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to delivering quality work under the strictest of schedule constraints without sacrificing sensitivity to the client.
Prior to founding D.C. Beane and Associates Construction Company, David served as the principal-in-charge for many notable projects as an officer of a national construction company. Most recently this has included Harvard LISE, a $100M nanotechnology facility in Cambridge, MA; Blue Cross Blue Shield, a 350,000 SF office building and detached parking facility. Numerous other projects completed include but are not limited to those for the Genzyme Corporation, Leggat McCall Properties, Liberty Mutual, New Boston Development Partners, Whitehead Institute, Intel, Amgen, M.I.T., A.W. Perry, Biogen, Lyme Properties, and Millennium Pharmaceuticals.

Joseph Gaiko brings to D.C. Beane and Associates Construction Company over 15 years of commercial construction experience in the Boston area. He is well known as a highly effective construction professional who can implement complex design elements while continually driving the construction process to meet critical schedule milestones. Joseph has achieved a reputation not only for technical success but for the manner with which he conducts business throughout the course of a project. Integrity and reliability are hallmarks of his professional career.
The variety of construction project types that Joseph has been responsible for include: core/shell office buildings, biopharmaceutical laboratories, tenant fit-out, and healthcare construction. Joseph is also a LEED Accredited Professional with experience in managing projects to meet the strict guidelines of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Most notably, Joseph's recent projects include: Construction of a 280,000 SF Research and Development building for Biogen Idec in Cambridge, MA; Genzyme Center a 300,000 SF State of the Art LEED Certified Platinum Office Building in Cambridge, MA; 80,000 SF of additions to the Newton Wellesley Hospital including a New Emergency Department; and 300,000 SF of new construction for WGBH’s Headquarters in Brighton, MA.
