Field Co-Op

DC Beane and Associates Construction Company is seeking motivated Field Engineer Co-Ops to join our growing team. This position provides hands-on experience supporting active construction projects throughout New England while assisting project teams with field coordination, scheduling, quality control, safety, and day-to-day construction operations.

A. responsibilities
  • Assist project teams with field coordination, planning, scheduling, and project execution activities.
  • Support Superintendents and Project Managers in monitoring construction progress, subcontractor activities, and project logistics.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of work schedules, site logistics plans, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Coordinate project documentation, job files, and field communication between project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Become familiar with permitting processes, occupancy requirements, construction documentation, and project management software.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support collaboration across project teams.

Field Engineer

DC Beane and Associates Construction Company is seeking motivated Field Engineers to join our growing team. This position supports project execution through coordination, communication, document control, subcontractor management, and field operations support on complex construction projects throughout New England.

We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and may hire at different levels based on qualifications, technical knowledge, leadership ability, and prior construction experience.

A. responsibilities
  • Support project execution by obtaining, evaluating, coordinating, and distributing project information and authorizations.
  • Assist with preparation of contract item lists, closeout documentation, and final project records.
  • Draft subcontract change orders and client change order requests.
  • Track, distribute, and follow up on project documents, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals to ensure timely review and approval.
  • Coordinate material and equipment releases to support project schedules.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, and coordination.
  • Assist with pricing and estimating subcontractor scope changes.
  • Support project teams in maintaining schedule, quality, and safety expectations.

Project Manager

DC Beane and Associates Construction Company is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our growing team. This position is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction project management including pre-construction, budgeting, scheduling, coordination, construction execution, closeout, and client relations on complex projects throughout New England.

A. responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all phases of project management, including design, permitting, construction, occupancy, quality control, staffing, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Lead projects and project teams through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction phases.
  • Identify constructability challenges and develop solutions related to logistics, cost, scheduling, and coordination.

Project Superintendent

This position is responsible for overseeing field construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and site logistics, maintaining project safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget throughout New England.

We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and may hire at different levels based on qualifications, technical knowledge, leadership ability, and prior construction experience.

A. responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise day-to-day construction activities on active project sites.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and field operations to maintain project schedule and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement site logistics plans, work sequencing, and project schedules.
  • Maintain and enforce project safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations and DCBA safety requirements.
  • Lead project quality control efforts and ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and client expectations.
  • Maintain strong communication with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Project Executives, subcontractors, and field personnel.

Safety Co-Op

A. Daily Job Duties
  • Assist DCBA Safety in the enforcement, coaching, and implementation of the DCBA HS&E program in the office and field.
  • Assist in the development, audits, and enforcement of project Site-Specific Safety Management Plans to ensure a safe work environment for all.
  • Coordinate with each client’s safety representatives to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately, investigated, and corrective actions followed up on and completed. This includes documentation, reporting, and follow up information/closeout. Provide first aid if required.
  • Participate and help facilitate monthly Safety Committee meetings. This includes meeting minutes and distribution
  • Provide support to projects by maintaining a visible presence in the field performing site visits to the entire project and coordinating with the site Superintendents and Project Managers. This includes both verbal and written observations for both compliant and deficient actions or activities.
  • Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards to ensure compliance and inform project teams of potential impacts.

Visits to various sites around New England are required.  Must be able to climb permanent and temporary stairs, climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Must have close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; be exposed to moving mechanical parts; mobile and stationary cranes; elevated structures; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.

Safety Superintendent

DC Beane and Associates Construction Company is seeking motivated Safety Superintendents to join our growing team. This position is responsible for supporting and enforcing DCBA’s Safety & Health Program across active construction projects throughout New England while helping maintain a strong safety culture in both field and office environments.

We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and may hire at different levels based on qualifications, certifications, leadership ability, and prior construction safety experience.

A. responsibilities
  • Support and enforce DCBA’s Safety & Health Program in both office and field environments.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Site-Specific Safety Management Plans.
  • Coordinate with client safety representatives to ensure compliance with project and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular site visits, field walks, audits, and inspections to reinforce safety expectations and identify potential risks.
  • Ensure all incidents, near misses, hazards, and injuries are reported, investigated, documented, and followed through with corrective actions.

VDC Coordinator

This position supports preconstruction and project execution efforts through the development of 2D, 3D, and 4D models, logistics planning, clash detection, coordination meetings, and BIM/VDC support for complex construction projects throughout New England.

A. responsibilities
  • Develop renderings, logistics plans, and proposal graphics for upcoming projects.
  • Utilize Revit, CAD, Navisworks, and related software to produce 2D, 3D, and 4D construction coordination models.
  • Support construction sequencing, quantity take-offs, clash detection, and logistics planning efforts.
  • Coordinate and process project models, point clouds, and existing condition scans for use by project stakeholders.
  • Support coordination meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Any unsolicited resumes/profiles sent to DC Beane including unsolicited resumes/profiles sent directly to any DC Beane employees, will be considered DC Beane property. DC Beane will not pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited resume. DC Beane will consider any candidate information for whom an agency has submitted an unsolicited resume/profile to have been referred by the Agency free of any charges or fees. Agency must obtain advance written approval from a member of DC Beane’s Talent Acquisition team to submit resumes/profiles, and then only in conjunction with a valid fully-executed DC Beane vendor agreement and in response to a specific job opening. DC Beane will not pay a fee to any agency that does not have such agreement in place.
