This state-of-the-art facility was constructed during the COVID-19 period to support the client’s rapidly growing R&D demands. The project involved a complete interior demolition adjacent to operating GMP suites, and DCBA managed the integration of design development into the overall construction schedule to phase demolition and minimize rework while maintaining an aggressive timeline. Preconstruction services were provided to secure materials and scientific equipment amid challenging market conditions, and DCBA conducted a thorough in-house VDC process to enhance the accuracy of submittal and coordination drawings, resulting in flexible lab ballrooms, Pilot Lab Program space, and new infrastructure components such as a highly purified water skid and expanded compressed air, nitrogen, and vacuum distribution systems.
