Museum of Comparative Zoology Renovation
Cambridge, MA
Project Overview
This complex renovation of a historic 1800s building provided critical code-compliant and infrastructure upgrades while preserving the existing structure and architectural finishes. Structural modifications created open offices and conference rooms, requiring the careful rigging of new steel members through existing windows in a densely populated campus. Architectural enhancements included acoustic plaster ceilings, custom glass storefront systems, intricate millwork details, and updated flooring, paint, and fixtures.
