Project Overview

This innovative industrial renewable energy project involved providing the Nuvera Hydrogen Generation Station in Chicago with high-purity hydrogen generation and a dispensing system to power fuel cell vehicles. DCBA meticulously coordinated the installation of several hundred feet of high-pressure hydrogen coil tubing, reducing the number of fittings to prevent hazardous classification zones while avoiding conflicts with existing MEPs. The project also included the installation of intricate instrumentation, high-pressure vessels, redundant low-pressure storage systems, equipment cooling systems, compressor skids, and a process generator, all completed without a single open flame.
