Main Lobby, Curtain Wall, Concourse, & Charles River Gallery Renovations

Project Overview

Four projects over two years requiring detailed coordination to protect the Museum’s 1.3M annual visitors and 600+ employees. Workers erected scaffolding with an expansive dance floor to safely perform work at height while transforming the Museum’s Main Lobby, Curtain Wall, Main Concourse, and Charles River Gallery. DCBA replaced exisiting exterior storefront and installed living walls, SageGlass Panels, and interactive displays while maintaining visitor experience throughout the life of each project.
