Multi-Product Line Facility Expansion

Project Overview

DCBA transformed an occupied and operational manufacturing space from a single product line facility to a cell-culture facility capable of producing two product lines in parallel, completing the work without impacting ongoing operations. The intense year-long preconstruction phase involved assembling a large project team of subcontractors from across the U.S., and for 17 weeks, over 120 workers were on-site 24/7 to meet the complex schedule. The project included high-purity process piping, which required rigorous QA/QC and productivity monitoring, and DCBA utilized off-site prefabrication to ensure the systems met all GMP manufacturing requirements.
